Begin your day with a crispy breeze swaying your body sweat while having a vivified run. It will charge you up for the whole day making your start much more striking and refreshing.

Here are the tips on what you should do and should not do while going out for a run.

DO’s:

  • Running in outer space is much better than a run on a treadmill giving you exposure to external factors and fresh air.
  • Staying hydrated is a must, always keep a water bottle while going out for a run.
  • Do try and have a running buddy with the same goals, it will keep you motivated.
  • Do keep a track of your running session with a timer or just a health tracker, it will trace your attainments and uplift you further.

  • Do cool down your body after a hot running session keeping your body from excess panting and relaxing your muscles.
  • Do take time for your body to rest after cramps or suffering instead of rushing for a workout it will only jeopardise your health.
  • Wear clothes accordingly, avoid cotton clothes, wear sunscreen and carry a hand towel. Also, go for bright clothes if you are going running when it’s getting dusky.
  • Do relish while running, it should be fun and invigorating and not afflicting.
  • Do keep your head held high, it will induce a better posture reducing risk and even increasing your pace.
  • Do keep good quality shoes and keep them changing before they get worn off to avoid injury and get better results.

DON’Ts

  • Don’t directly dive straight to running, first have proper warm-up or stretches this will alleviate the muscular tension and prevent unwanted injuries.
  • Don’t run after having a heavy meal it will hamper your training, make sure there is a proper gap between the eating and commencing your run.
  • Don’t make the common blunder of having too many arm motions, making sure they are around 90-degree and keeping your shoulders relaxed instead.
  • Don’t overdo, keep up with your own pace instead of getting discouraged by other folks. Pay attention to your own body.
  • Avoid running out in dark, your running can go unnoticed easily and cause you to trip or get injured.
  • Don’t expect people to watch out for you, do observe the oncoming vehicles while crossing the intersections.
  • Don’t detach yourself from the outside world through high notched headphones it can prone you to the dangers of vehicles or robbers.
  • Don’t run with long strides, having short strides will minimise injuries making your joints last longer.
  • Don’t mistakenly believe that fast running is efficient, set a specific pace and increase your endurance.
  • Don’t go out running in scorching heat, it can excruciate your body making you faint.
